Cinderella

Cinderella, one of the most beloved fairy tales, is most commonly attributed to French writer Charles Perrault, though earlier versions of the story exist in various cultures. The tale centers around a kind-hearted young woman named Cinderella, who, after the death of her mother, is forced into servitude by her cruel stepmother and stepsisters. Despite her mistreatment, Cinderella remains hopeful and kind.

The story takes a magical turn when her fairy godmother appears, transforming her rags into a beautiful gown and glass slippers so she can attend the royal ball. Under a spell, Cinderella must return before midnight when the magic wears off. At the ball, she captures the heart of the prince, but in her rush to leave, she loses one of her glass slippers. The prince, determined to find the woman he loves, searches the kingdom for the owner of the slipper. In the end, the slipper fits Cinderella, and she marries the prince, escaping her life of hardship.
