In Thornhedge, a kind-hearted, toad-shaped heroine named Toadling embarks on a mission that spirals into chaos. Trapped in a tower, a princess waits, but this story isn’t hers. Toadling, taken from her family by fairies at birth, is raised in the warm waters of faerieland. Now an adult, the fae request a simple favor: to return to the human world and bless a newborn child with protection. But simple tasks rarely involve fairies without complications.
